Overview
An online store built on WooCommerce and Dokan Pro, where products are sold by individual vendors and stores instead of one seller. I designed, built and continue to maintain the platform, including the custom features that let the business run its sales network from one system.

The problem
Out-of-the-box marketplace plugins cover the basics, but this business needed more: different sign-up journeys for different people, a management hierarchy with controlled access, and reports that matched how the business actually tracks sales.

What I built
Each feature below is a custom-built WordPress and WooCommerce plugin, integrated with WooCommerce, Dokan and WordPress as a whole. Every plugin has its own permission rules: users see the same screens, but only the data they're allowed to access, such as their own team.
- Custom registration forms for sellers and vendors, for buyers, and for managers
- Role-based access, so managers only see and act on people within their own team
- Features that let sellers and managers place orders, recruit and update details on behalf of their team
- A manager promotion overview that tracks progress, with CSV export
- A promotion and demotion workflow that moves team members safely and keeps a full change log
- Sales and performance reports built to the business's own needs
- Admin repair tools for correcting team links and member codes
- Clearer vendor dashboard behaviour and customer emails
